Hey man,

So Liquid USDT is identical to Tether held on other networks in that it's issued by Tether/Bitfinex themselves. I Think I'd need to understand How you might want to use Liquid USDT to give you a better answer - For example if you use Bitfinex as an exchange to trade, you wont notice much of a difference in how you trade besides much cheaper network fees to deposit liquid assets, and no fee for withdrawals. If you use another exchange, you'd have to see whether they support liquid deposits/withdrawals.

If you prefer the KYC-free option you can use sideshift https://sideshift.ai/a/P9HPd9QfiS (referral link) to quickly swap assets (network agnostic - so you can swap to mainnet btc, liquid btc and other tokens like ethereum, uni etc)

If you want you can tweet me or message me on telegram at @ImTiaan and I'll be happy to help further!
